Poetry - linocut prints

Poetry is an open series of intimate linocut prints, inspired by poetry. Two colours are the symbols of two opposite sexual forces. As lovers get together in the intimate act, they loose themselves in one another and form a new unity, the blend, the mixture which is often imperfect and slight misaligned.

The manual printmaking process allows for experiments with strength of each colour, resulting in varied impressions.
These are very small, limited editions.

Works below are inspired by poems "Wild Nights" by Emily Dickinson and "The Trick" by Imtiaz Dharker.
