I am a multidisciplinary artist and craftsperson, focused on printmaking, illustrator and surface design. I have graduated from the National Film School in Łódź, faculty of Animation and studied animation at the Polytechnic in Turku, Finland.
I started my creative life in Warsaw in 2005 and dipped my fingers in many fields, from directing an animated film to fashion collaborations.
My sense of aesthetics and principles of work have been shaped by studies in Finland and travels to Japan and Canary Islands. I was raised in Cracow, which was under the influence of Viennese Secession and the folklore of Tatra mountains, in a family of art painters and creatives.
I believe that craftsmanship and unbound creativity are what makes us truly human. My inspiration comes from Nature, black and white photography, sculpture and folk traditions of indigenous peoples.
In the spare time I read science books, take photos or design the space around me, which I fill with vintage finds and natural objects.
I one-handedly run my own linocut prints store Atelier Misko.
My linocut prints can also be found at Slou and Somethings concept stores in Warsaw.
Digital posters from my works can be found in Wall-Being online store.
My clients include: Rebis, Zwierciadło, Wab, Pedigree, Whiskas, GaliLu, Kids On The Moon, Łukasz Jemioł, 5.10.15., Smyk, The Simple Things, Reliefprint Press Cards, TVP S.A.
